In short — every financial figure you enter in Firedom (assets, records, goals, scenarios) is stored only on your device, with no account and no bank linking, and is never transmitted to us. We do not operate a server.

1. Information the app holds

The following is everything the app deals with, and all of it stays in a database on your device.

We do not collect any personally identifying information such as name, email address, phone number or account details, and we use no advertising identifiers and no analytics SDK.

2. No transmission to a server

Your financial data is never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes the data on your device along with it. The only exception is subscription billing, covered in section 3, and even then only payment-related information is involved.

3. Subscription billing (only if you subscribe)

If you take out a premium subscription, payment is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase, and RevenueCat is used to validate the subscription receipt. The information processed is limited to the following.

Processed byInformationPurpose
Apple / GooglePayment information, purchase receiptIn-app purchase processing (your store account terms apply)
RevenueCatPurchase receipt, randomly generated anonymous ID, device type and OS versionValidating and managing subscription status

Even when you subscribe, your assets, records and other financial data are not transmitted. For details of RevenueCat's processing, see the RevenueCat privacy policy.

4. Notifications

The monthly recording reminder uses local notifications on your device only. No push notification server is used, and nothing is sent anywhere for notifications.

5. Biometrics (app lock)

You can lock the app with Face ID or a fingerprint. Authentication is performed by your device's operating system; the app neither accesses nor stores biometric data itself.

6. Backup files

The backup feature in Settings exports an encrypted backup file (AES-256) to a location you choose, such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive. Creating, keeping and restoring that file is entirely up to you, and we cannot access it.

7. Version check

To tell you about a new version, the app reads only the store's public version information. No personal or financial data is transmitted for this either.

8. Children's privacy

This app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revision and its effective date will be posted on this page.

10. Contact

For questions about how information is handled, please use the GitHub contact page.

Simulation results in this app are for informational purposes only and are not investment advice.
